Airplane Heaven

Campbell cried the whole way when we told him we were taking him to an air show. The boy DOES NOT like to try new things. But having known him for 4 years now we FORCED him to go and guess what - as we predicted it was pretty much his own personal heaven.

Right off we saw the biplane...Campbell's long time favorite (they gave all the kids flags to wave):

We got to tour many many different planes & helicopters - Here we are exploring the GIGANTIC C-17:

I've always wanted to go to an air show...and now I can HIGHLY recommend it!

Those C-17 are so big they just look like they are floating there without moving when the come in for a landing.

Having lived right under the flight line at Ramstein AFB in Germany for six months I got to see, and hear, my fair share of those monsters. Looks like you guys had a great time.
