Here is a picture of us running through the gale force winds to dinner in the lodge, and then how the world looked when we woke up in the morning. Of course we were totally unprepared for the snow...check out Ammon's hoodie:

.......
...We made it down the mountain on Sunday to spend time with the Singletons in the much more temperate Cedar City (which was great, and I might add the highlight of Campbell's vacation.:-) The thaw started on Monday and by Wednesday we could was barely find any snow on the ground.
We visited Zion Canyon:
We visited Bryce Canyon:
.......
And Campbell loved looking at the scenery through his 'noculars:
We visited the Parowan Gap Petroglyphs (Come on, you know you always wonder about it when you pass by):
We went fishin' at Paragona Lake (pronounced pear-a-guuuuna, as we learned):
We visited Kolob Canyons:
We visited Cedar Breaks (very very quickly because it was coooooold...burrr):
.......
And even took in a play in Cedar City! Jealous? If there was any letdown at all, I'd have to say it was the food. But as Ammon pointed out, we weren't exactly going somewhere "known" for the food. The food highlights were the Navajo Tacos Ammon insisted we seek out ("Indian Food" according to Ammon) and the bread sticks at the Pizza Factory in Cedar. (GREAT recommendation Jaime!)
Campbell's other great line: "Mommy, don't tell me what to do...you're being very bossy." When I told him that I'm the Mommy and Mommy's are supposed to be bossy he replied, "No, Daddy's the boss."

Look at you, all cute and pregnant! Glad to hear you guys had a fun, disaster-free vacation...and you managed to make it home with the same windshield as when you left. I can't believe how much you packed in through the week. Are you totally exhausted now??
How adventurous and fun!!

Campbell will learn soon enough that Daddy's only the boss when Mommy lets him be. :)
