Try try again

So, I can't believe it, but we're finally going to try try again to have a family vacation. We swore to never speak of our last one again...buuuuuut if you don't know what I'm talking about it I'll mention that it was to Lake Tahoe and it involved throw up in the car, a rock smashed through our windshield (which led to me having to plead for my firstborn's life) and a split lip. At the very least I swore we would never drive anywhere far. But drive we will. Good and far. Wish us luck.

So we're off to Brianhead, UT...and I'm trying not to get too excited (you know, go with low expectations and hopefully you'll have a happy surprise, right?) This time my Mom in on the adventure.

I'm most excited so see Ammon again...yea! Coming home tomorrow just to jump in the car and drive away. He's been in Cannes (again) since last Thursday and I've decided that these trips to France and Italy are much worse than a month out at sea. How selfish is it that I'd rather hear about closterphobia, bad food, cheesy karaoke nights and basketball games than dips in the Mediterranean, posh hotels, 5-star dinners that last until midnight and day-trips to Monte Carlo?
