4 Months Old

Super Cooper is already 4 months old. ...actually around here he's usually known as Coop-a-doop, Coopy or just plain Coop. He is an absolutely great baby. He's very easy-going and loves motion...which makes him a dream baby when it comes to outings in the car and stroller. (It's troublesome sister Isla that ruins it for the rest of us.) I haven't been able to take too many pics of his full and exciting ;-) life! (My camera battery is fried - I'm waiting on a new one.)

I tried to take 4 month photos...and this is the best I got in my 2 min photo session (battery died, of course):


This month has been such a fun one. He's giggling, grabbing things, and rolling over!
He also went for his first swim. I felt him jump when his feet touched the cool water (it was 104 outside, so it was warranted) but he didn't object!:


My primary class loves him. He's almost too distracting to have in class:


He's gotten the hang of the exersaucer. Whoo-hoo!:

He finds his siblings fascinating. He LOVES to watch them...until they get too loud (he's VERY sound sensitive) or a little too rambunctious with their showers of kisses.:


He's caught in the time honored "if I'm on my back I must roll over" vs. "I hate being stuck on my tummy" cycle:


All in all, we love our sweet baby. I'm wee bit sad that we're so busy these days - he just keeps getting bigger and I just can't seem to enjoy him enough before he does. He sleeps pretty well - buuuuut he's a binky lover and I do have to "re-plug" the binky a few times at night :-( ...I'm not sure what to do about that. And, of course, he still is a huge spit-up risk. At our house you frequently hear "Oh, gross!" then everyone giggles.
