Cooper Eli Madsen

The suspense is over...and "baby" has a name. I envy those who are able to pick out a name months before the baby is born! If you don't like Cooper, well, please don't tell us. ;-)

Clearly, I had to have another c-section. We were going forward with a v-back with the full support of my Dr - but after a little while we all could easily tell it wasn't proceeding as beautifully as Isla's birth...and I am fortunate to have such a good vigilant group of dr's and nurses around me who quickly saw the red flags and got things moving when they needed to. I feel very grateful & positive about the whole experience.

This little guys is as sweet as can be...for 3 days old. He somewhere in between Campbell (the sleeper) & Isla (the sucker) in temperament. He has TONS of hair (for our family) and is quite a chunk (we wouldn't know what to do with a skinny baby). So far Isla & Campbell are all hugs and kisses...of course, I haven't seen them for more than an hour at a time for the past couple of days so I can't speak to their tantrums and jealous rages...but Cooper's homecoming day was a good day...complete with Sprinkles cupcakes. :-)
