Goodbye Goopy Eye

Isla's eye surgery went very well today. (They kept calling it surgery, but all that was involved was a probe through her tear duct.) We got to the hospital at 6:30am and despite being deprived of food and drink, she was in the very best of moods. They let her color with markers on her bed and she was in heaven:The anesthesiologist was a true pro and she went right to him; everything proceeded exactly as the eye doc said it would; and I barely had time to text Ammon (he stayed home with Campbell) all the details (no phone calls in the waiting room) before they came out to tell me the good news. We'll have to wait two weeks to know for sure that the procedure worked completely...but as of now I am completely happy and relieved! She came out of anesthesia pretty grouchy and with a nosebleed...but if that was the worst of it - I'll take it.

And a peaceful ride home. Thanks for your support!
