Pre-Easter Festivities

Saturday was party day! An Easter party, a birthday party, and warm sunshine. Here are Isla and Campbell hunting for eggs at the ward Easter party:

...

Since Isla already loves to carry something (a purse, a bucket, a bag) and put things in it...she was a natural. Luckily Campbell's pretty laid back about eggs because the competition was intense and don't tell him but he didn't haul in a very much loot. ...And he was perfectly happy with the few he got. Here they are examining the haul. Isla's actually examining a grape. - She hadn't realized that there was candy inside the eggs yet...and when she did, of course, it was full of melted chocolate which she enjoyed squishing.

Since Easter is General Conference I made the kids dress up for Easter today - Isla had a beautiful sundress (Jenny, I'm so excited that she's finally in this dress...it's so cute and perfect timing for Easter) and Campbell actually wore a tie! Alas, we weren't organized enough to take a family photo before church and, well, after church we were a little disheveled and Isla was sound asleep. I didn't get any photos of anyone else, but when Isla woke up I was able to snap a few cute photos of her in her pretty dress:

...

Can't wait for the real thing at Grandma's house next week!

Oh she's so adorable in that dress...and I can't believe she is so good at walking around, carrying a basket and collecting eggs...the best one-year-old multi-tasker I've seen :-)
