So much to be thankful for...

Like Thanksgiving in Maui.  Here's the whole group at the Iao Needle.

We enjoyed a little time at Kapalua Bay.  Most of us snorkled.  Campbell dug a "tunnel."

Isla enjoyed time with her Cousin Annie.  Cooper...well, Cooper didn't love it - but he made up for that with a new passion for jumping into the pool.

We made the drive to the top of Haleakula.

Here's Grandma with all of her grandkids at the top of the world.

Campbell really loves hiking so we took another hike to Waihou Spring.  The sign says "Stay on Trail" but we did not stay on trail.

Mainly because when we got to the "spring" we found this awsome dry river bed.

Full of caves to explore (can you see Ammon and Campbell up in a high cave?)

Cooper tried and tried to get up there too.

Isla was happy to stay on the rocks at the bottom and watch them.

We also got up early (not hard for our early risers) for a sunrise whale watching cruise.

Isla pointing out the first whale.

The breach of the tail of a humpback.  We had an amazing show of 4 humpbacks competing for a female.  There were a few dolphins there for a little fun too.  Even Cooper loved seeing the whales...for the 1st hour. ;-)

We are so grateful for the opportunity to go to this warm and beautiful place and do nothing but fun things.  Sure, there were some looooong plane rides, colds and meltdowns in restaurants that we shall never speak of again...but the fun memories were well worth it all!
