YES, this little monkey smiles that much!
Speaking of monkeys...I had to make him a monkey cake:
I think he had a full tummy from dinner because he didn't even want to taste the cake - it all hit the floor. But when I gave it to him again the next day...he was in heaven:
He got to open presents...

After a little lesson from Campbell and Isla:
So what's Cooper like at one? He says (and waves) "Hi" anytime he hears someone say it...or even just when he sees someone new. He loves to clap...especially to music. He says "Da-da" but even Ammon will admit that he means "Mama." He climbs, climbs, climbs. Still loves hair, but at least he's seemed to learn not to just grab it all the time (and he doesn't attack his friend Ginger and yank her hair quite so much). And, of course, he is no stranger to the naughty mess:

Cooper!!! I cannot wait to give that one a big squeeze in August when we finally see you guys again. The monkey cake turned out great!
