I had to start with April Fools day because this is my one and only April post...and it's in May! It's because nothing happened in April. Ha ha...no really, it's because our computer crashed. (And I thought it was hard to blog without a camera - try no computer.)
For April Fools day I decided to make frosting spaghetti, strawberry jam sauce & cake toast. I also made Jello in their cups. Then we had spaghetti pie for dessert. Campbell HATED it. Isla didn't mind, but she didn't eat it either. How do my kids have no sense of humor? Ammon and I still laugh thinking about Isla trying to suck that Jello through her sippy.
Campbell DID come around by the next day and decided to make some fun food himself. And he did, in fact, eat "Eggman" for dinner.
Cooper turned 10 months. He shakes his head "no." He cruises, claps, waves bye bye...he even invented a game! (Whenever he makes it onto the patio he takes rocks and drops them though metal holes at the bottom of our grill to make little noises.) Although he only just two days ago cut his first tooth, he's been refusing baby food (and I've had to get a little more creative.)
Campbell lost a tooth - unfortunately it had to be pulled. The tooth he got a filling in last year developed an abscess. Poor guy...but he was extremely brave AND super excited to get a visit from the tooth fairy.
We had an awesome spring break. Auntie Bethany came to visit and we went to both Sea World AND the SD Wild Animal park. Of course I don't have any pics.
We dyed Easter eggs and the Easter bunny paid us a visit. We had Easter dinner at Rich and Jaime's and it was a real treat!

Isla got a BIG ouchie on her lip. Seriously, this girl has fabulous lips but she needs to stop using them to break her fall. Campell always had a big bruise and/or raspberry on his forehead...for Isla it's her lips. Ouch.

We got new carpet and Campbell got a real bed. (Not just a mattress on the floor.) The extra perk was the new hiding place...it's as if we added a little more square footage to our house.
Cooper got a new bed too...and Isla still likes to jump in with him in the morning. He's got the monkey bedding, but she's the monkey.

Isla's lip makes me criiiiinge. Jack frequently uses his nose to break a fall. I'm surprised he hasn't broken it yet.
Under the bed storage is great, until when you try to use it you find that it's completely full of all those random toys (and socks) that have been missing. My friend's son was cleaning his room and brought out his bed rails. He said it was just too tempting to shove everything under the bed.
