11 Months

Yep, the little firecracker is 11 months old...almost one...going on 4 1/2. She pretty much thinks she can do whatever Campbell can do (and don't tell him but a little more.)

She is a born climber. ANY chance she gets she's up the stairs, on top of the table or up on a stool. I've given in to the climbing and am trying to (at the very least) teach her how to get down properly...but she still has her share of bumps a bruises.
.....................

She's still a dancer and will groove to ANY music. She's getting her 1st molar and it's worse that the other 8 teeth - she's a really hard teether, poor thing. Her favorite food is a banana and, of course, "nana" is now one of her words (although as far as I can tell it refers to all food). She's also learned to say "no, no, no." The first time I heard it I was pulling her out of the refrigerator which Campbell had opened and she had climbed into - her personal quest is to get into that fridge (oi vey).

One day Isla was wearing this shirt when Campbell glanced at her and said "Hi Appleshirt." This really cracked us up and we've taken to calling her Appleshirt lately...I guess it's as good a nickname as any.

I'll spare you the pictures of this (and we did take them), but last week was a pretty traumatic week for us because Ammon was suffering from cellulitis. It was so painful that he could barely move his head (it was in his nose) and definitely couldn't sleep. He had to have IV antibiotics plus a series of a couple of other antibiotics, painkillers to be able to function (if you can call it that) and sleeping pills to sleep. As I said, he was really suffering...it was such a relief when it finally went away (it took about a week).

By the way, that whole cellulitis thing happened during Ammon's first week of work which of course he didn't go to. So now this is his first week of work...we'll let you know how it goes.
