In the mean time, we've been doing the California summer thing with with great California-style laid back enthusiasm.
We took in the OC Fair and sampled a little honey (...I think Isla was upset she was too little to taste the honey...or maybe she was really really tired.)
And Campbell actually really really enjoyed the attractions this year
We've also hit the aquarium where he bravely fed the lorikeets
And Isla (who's enjoying food more and more) double-fisted a pickle and a french fry
Of course we've been hitting the pool regularly where Campbell's skills and nerve continue to increase (and his trash talking...he's constantly telling everyone in the pool how good of a swimmer he is)

Looks like a fun summer. Last night London and I were singing that boy & girl in a canoe song where the boy tries to kiss you so u get out & swim. I asked her what she would do & she said it depended on the boy. I asked her about Campbel & she said "oh I'd kiss Campbel"...uh oh.
Pickles, huh? I remember the first time we gave Spencer some ranch dressing.... he thought we were trying to kill him. Now he thinks it's one of the food groups.
BTW, your fairs look like WAY more fun than ours! Maybe if they had cool stuff like a giant slide, we'd actually go.
