Everythings a first when you're 7 weeks old!

Friday was Isla's first visit to the beach AND to Disneyland. I wanted to get a picture of Isla at the beach but for some crazy reason it didn't register how much more difficult an infant would make a trip to the beach. I had my chair on my back, Isla in a sling in the front a bag of toys in one hand and a bag of food and necessities in the other...and then there was Campbell. I'm going to have to get pointers from some other beach Moms! Or somehow get Campbell to pull some more weight (HA).
And then Ammon came home a little early and we headed off to Disneyland. Now I'm REALLY glad I didn't try this alone for the first time because I had to feed her twice. Ammon ran around with Campbell while I did...but, again, I'll have to find out from the other Disneyland Moms how you keep track of a three year old while feeding a baby. A mystery.
Isla liked the lights but didn't care at all for the tram. Campbell's current favorite is Mulhullan Madness in CA Adventure - which doesn't make any sense seeing as he's deathly afraid of all of the storybook rides in Disneyland.

You sound just like me when I had Ben. At least you have a little while to master the beach before summer comes! I bought a wonder wheeler and stuck ben in it...its a little heavy if you pack a lot (or have a heavy kid) but it worked best for me. Disneyland gets easier the less you have to nurse. I just wouldn't go alone until that was the case. We have passes too! I'd love to go with you and take Campbell on some rides while you feed Isla. Thats how I make it work. Seth was saying that holding Isla at church today was making him so sleepy. Really cute!!
