It's so hard to believe Christmas is just a couple days away! (Especially because we've been saying for so long that the baby is coming right after Christmas - yikes!)
I just wanted to post some Christmas greetings and a wrap up of 2008 while I still have a chance.

Merry Christmas from the Madsens!

Campbell is now 3 1/2 and makes us laugh and cry several times a day...I guess that comes with being three. He's loves pre-school, Mickey Mouse, trains and Legos. And just the other day, surprise to us all, he told me that he wants to be a singer when he grows up. This from a boy whose biggest fear is "speakers" (as in radio).

Ammon is still with Sea Launch and busily planning the launch of an Italian satallite. He's been fortunate to travel Europe several times this year with these clients. We were also excited when he became the manager of his Payload Integration department. (...and therefore addicted to his Blackberry. When I met Ammon he didn't "believe" in cell phones. I wish Ammon 2000 could meet Ammon 2008.) He's also still playing with his band, Johnny 99.

Kristen (I) am 9 months pregnant. (That about says it all.) I'm very excited to welcome a daughter into the family! After being immursed in camo, trains and Lighting McQueen for 3 years, it's exciting to have some pink, purple and bows in the house. I'm still loving serving in the Primary and when I have spare time I've been busily trying to find room for another person in our snug condo.

As a family this year we were excited to spend a week visiting Southern Utah National Parks, a long Halloween weekend in Provo and a stay in a Lake Tahoe cabin. We've enjoyed lots of visits to the beach and Disneyland and have endured potty training, swim lessons and Prop 8. My only regret is that I never made it to France with Ammon. Another time, another time.
We wish the best for all of our friends and family members and hope that this Christmas is woderful...despite the recession!
