We do get out once in a while! We got to go to the Make Music Pasadena festival this Saturday. We spent the weekend at my Mom's house which (barring a Campbell throwing up incident which I don't want to talk about and the A/C not working upstairs) was great! My mom watched Campbell and Ammon and I braved the 100+ heat to walk all around Old Town to the different free live music venues. 
The band we were were really excited to see again was Everest...and, no surprise, they were awesome.(Pic on right - http://www.myspace.com/everestlads)
Of course we saw some really crappy...uh...performers (?) and a few other good bands. I was interested in checking out Jesca Hoop - we found her music to be a little Halloweeny (like something that needed to be in a Tim Burton movie) and we liked Meiko - but she was a little too mellow. A surprise of a good time was the Latin techno band Kinky - they were very magnetic...but it was just too hot, crowded (and techno) at their stage so we didn't stay too long.

Wow, time alone without the boy? I haven't figured out how to do that yet. What's your secret? :)
My sympathies to your mom on the barfing incident. Spencer has been sick today but thankfully, nothing is coming back up.
