The Beach, Auntie B, & Campbell's Groove

Saturday was a Madsen Family Beach outing. It was a little chilly for swimming, but great sandcastle weather. We first built a collaboration sandcastle.

Then Ammon built a masterpiece - a dump truck and a back hoe loader. But the most fun, as you can see, was the demolition.

Sunday we got to go see Auntie Bethany. She's been serving in the Arcadia Mission (my "home" mission) and on Sunday they had a fireside for all of the missionaries going home. It was her second to last day in the field. Campbell tried to help break her back into "normal" life by giving her a few sloppy kisses. Here's a picture of the aftermath.

This morning Campbell was GROOVING out on the harmonica...I just HAD to capture the moment. What passion! And quite an interesting jig...I'm sure I have another musician on my hands!

Destruction is always the best part of any sand castle. Too bad though, the dump truck was pretty impressive.

I'm still laughing at the harmonica - soooo funny! Maybe he can teach Spencer how to blow... so far I haven't succeeded.
