Heat Wave

It is HOT here in HB. Look how much fun this kid is having in the pool. Little does he know that he's been signed up for classes with "the Swim Nazi" starting Monday. Oh the sweet innocent face. To give you an idea of what he's in for, the pamphlet assures that "almost 100% (of students) cry initially. It will stop in most cases in 2 or 3 days." But he's supposed to be the BEST swim teacher in So Cal and he promises that he can have a 2 year old swimming on his own with no fear of the water in two weeks. We decided to go for it.


If you're wondering about the tiny boo boo on his face. Well...he was pushing around a little car (as he is known to do) on an industrial carpet when...boom...down he went. It's basically rug burn, but he also cut both of his thumbs. I think he had his thumbs in the windows of the car (not pictured( and was putting ALL of his hefty weight on it. It was a very sad day...but he still wanted to go to the park rather than just go home. What a trooper.
