Here's our "super" weekend in one (or maybe two) breaths:
Ammon came back from Italy and was able to seemlessly transform from world jetsetter to family-man/home-body in a matter of minutes. I guess it helped that I had a bit of a cold and didn't feel like doing much. But it was a super Friday because Ammon came home (and, at least for Ammon, it was, like, a 25 hour day). Saturday we were pretty happy that we could actually stay home and stream President Hinckley's funeral on our Computer - an option I'm sure they invented for parents of 2 year olds. We (excluding Campbell) really enjoyed listening to President Hinckley be honored. Sunday we went to a friend's ward for a baby blessing. It was great to see old friends (and the new babe), but made for a long day...seeing as we had to go back to our ward because both Ammon and I were teaching. Then I really enjoyed watching the last 10 mins of the Superbowl. You have to admit, I chose the best time to watch! Monday Ammon's car "broke", as Campbell put it and we spent the morning getting it fixed. (It was just the battery and it seems to be back in business.) Last night Ammon and I watched Transformers and I have to admit, it was pretty good. ;-) I'm especially glad I finally know who Optimus Prime is.
Here are the pics that Ammon brought back from Italy...as you can see he was just as impressed with his hotel as the scenery:

P.S ...at home he doesn't leave the toilet seat up.

The reason vacations are great is because you can do stuff like leave the seat up. Looks like Ammon got some pretty nice digs for his trip.
I find it pretty sad that Ammon did take so many pictures of the hotel room. Business trips suck for that very reason - you just don't get out much. I was glad when I went to Chicago that they scheduled some time for us to be able to get out and have some fun at the White Sox game. Maybe next time you can actually get out and do some sight seeing and maybe even go together.
