Halloween in HB

Here are some pics of Campbell trick-or-treating at Huntington Beach's downtown event. It was a cool party with lots of activities for the kids...but, of course, Campbell pooped out after only making it down one side of Main Street and had to be carried back to the car. We had a great time while it lasted...and, well, he IS only 2.

He really enjoyed meeting HB's finest...but I think he mostly likes them for their cars and trucks.

This was a pretty cool trick-or-treating event where most of the stores along Main Street had people out front handing out candy (and a balloon or two). But, I decided not to include any pics of the many many many candy givers in fine downtown HB form...and by that I mean very scantily costumed revealing lots of tattoos. It seems that they all forgot that they would be doing a lot of bending over to give candy to small children. ...And weren't counting on it actually being cold.)
And let me say...the city of Huntington Beach knows how to put together a petting zoo! There were bunnies, ducks, pigs, a llama...and even a lion! This duck was pretty brave.

That looks like an awesome event. Spencer went nuts when he realized that people were giving out candy and he got to "hold a bucket" with candy in it.

How's life as a single mom again?

We went to Main st. too! What a brave boy! At first Zoƫ wanted to be with the animals but changed her mind on closer inspection. Love the costume!
