Still no pictures...

Well, Jerry's FINALLY been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and started radiation therapy. This kind of cancer supposedly responds very well to radiation and he is actually doing better after just 3 treatments. I say finally because he's been suffering from ever worsening mystery back pain for years and had endured many unsuccessful treatments. It's just so heartening to finally have a cause and a treatment! It's also so unbelievable that with all of the tests and MRIs that they've done that they're only just now discovering the cancer (which he has had for years). He was also diagnosed with dementia (which was the surprise). We'll really have to see how he's doing after a few more treatments and a lot less pain medication.

Tina...you have no idea how much I have been able to work through the fruit sticker thing. ;-) And Campbell did a really good job with the drain. I put a toy he's REALLY been wanting into the bath and we just stood there in the bathroom (for about 20 mins) until he finally decided that he wanted to play with the toy more than he was afraid of the bathtub. He just climbed in himself. I was really proud of him. I still can't let the water out when he's in earshot, but we have to choose our battles, right?
