Cousin Camp

We spent the weekend in Vancouver, Washington with my brother Andrew and his family. With four very active boys in the Sheppert family how could Campbell not have the best time of his life?

They took us on a hike to the Multnomah falls (where, as you can see, Campbell really didn't do much hiking).

The visits to downtown Vancouver, Portland, the Falls and even Andrew's office were great (Campbell was really nervous that we were going to see the Doctor, but brightened up when he realized it was just Uncle Andrew - he even let him check his ears for "balls")...but Campbell's favorite part of the trip was the fun Sheppert house with great toys, exciting people to play with and (in his opinion) the greatest invention ever made: the trampoline.

Of course, Ammon and I had a great time as well...but if just one little boy knocks us out imagine us with FIVE! We were pretty useless. Many kudos to Andrew and Laura who have figured out how to keep up with and keep on top of their busy family! We have much to learn from them.

I was hoping that Campbell would take away a little of the independence that he learned from his cousins...but, alas, as soon as we were back at home he was once again holding on to my legs crying for me to pick him us as I was brushing my teeth. I think our great contribution to the Sheppert household was that we got Christopher hooked on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...oops.
